Jackson TS #8

 On Tuesday, August 3 at 3:00pm, I met with Masoud for our first tutoring session. We spent much of the time talking, since he told me he wants to focus on pronunciation and speaking, learning about each other and why we are both doing what we are currently doing. We discussed families, interests, paths of study, roommates, vacations, and more. At the end, I pulled up the list of minimal pairs from out tongue twister lesson and worked on the pronunciations of various different sounds. He struggled a bit with the p/b sound, but after a couple times through the list was making a definite improvement. This is where we left off, picking up the next time with a similar exercise.
