Olivia CP #4

 July 30th, 2021- I met with Davi at Lucky Goat for an hour. This was the first time we met in person! He arrived a little and apologized and mentioned how lateness is normal in his culture. I did not mind and we compared and contrasted Brazilian and Ameircan social etiquette and norms. We talked about what are future plans are for the next year. Then we talked about our family heritage and last names. He was interested to hear about my family tree and how my family has spread out. Davi is always very good about asking questions if he doesn't understand something or wants help. For example, we talked about the difference in pronunciation between want and went. I also taught him a few phrases like "break the cycle" and "family tree". Davi is very funny and easy to get along with. I always learn something new about Brazilian culture and I feel like he learns something new from me.
