Topic/Skill: Homophones(Its and It's)

Feedback provided to tutee: Today we started our lessons on the homophones its and it's. However, we only had the chance to watch a youtube video. After we had some audio issues. I did my best with using the chat option to continue the lesson, but it proved to be a little difficult. I provided the difference of the homophones, and I checked in with her to see if she understood. She showed an understanding of the two

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I learned that Alice enjoys talking out loud, and it helps with her confidence and engagement. She also enjoys hearing what you have to say as well, like active conversations. Since we only had the chat to rely on, she was still able to use it fully. However, since I could not show the youtube video on zoom I had to share the link. I had to trust that Alice watched the whole video. But that is why I reinforced what the video said in the chat.
