Topic/Skill: Subject-verb agreement

Feedback provided to tutee:  Alice was able to grasp the topic I showed today. The subject agreement is a topic that 4th graders learn, and since Alice is starting school soon I wanted her to introduce her to this. I was worried that she wouldn't immediately grasp the topic. However, she exceeded my expectations and she showed an understanding of the topic. With longer sentences, it was harder to find the proper verb. 

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: When it comes with harder topics, more learning resources should be introduced. For instance, with this lesson, I showed Alice multiple youtube videos that broke apart the topic. I would also pause frequently so that I could define the words in my own words. I would also pause to ask her questions, as there were a lot of practice questions.

 August 3rd Today Jeah and I met after a brief break, we worked on learning new words and what they mean. She loves to draw so I let her draw the new words she learned.
