Kiyanna Caggiano CP #5

 Today we continued the lesson on reading and practicing English annunciations. We did this by reading scholarly articles on Medicine since my Conversation Partner is a doctor. After, working on trying to cut through his accent to get a better flow we worked on showing emotion through reading. We did this by reading a story of an Antiguan soccer player which used a lot of question marks and exclamation points. I feel like for all of my meetings with my new partner we are pretty much working on the same thing because he is so fluent.

 July 30th When working with Jael I realized on paper her English is almost perfect she can write sentences, uses some grammar, and knows a wide array of words. Trying to further my evaluation of Jeahs skill we completing a reading assignment. Where we rfead brief articles and answered questions together. This testing her comprehension, which she is pretty good at. I've noticed if she reads out loud she seems to understand stuff better.

 August 3rd Today Jeah and I met after a brief break, we worked on learning new words and what they mean. She loves to draw so I let her draw the new words she learned.
