 I met with Hang-ah over Zoom on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. 

Topic discussed: Family ties, plans for the remainder of the year

Cultural and/or linguistic topics you and your partner learned: I learned about Hang-ah's family and how it is difficult to stay close after moving across the world. Hang-ah told me about her hope to visit them one day soon. Then she told me about her upcoming trip to Disney. I told her about the benefits of staying at a Disney hotel and she was excited because that was her plan. I learned that Hang-ah and her husband are not able to take long vacations because of his work schedule.

Trying to further my evaluation of Jeahs skill we completing a reading assignment. Where we rfead brief articles and answered questions together. This testing her comprehension, which she is pretty good at. I've noticed if she reads out loud she seems to understand stuff better.

 August 3rd Today Jeah and I met after a brief break, we worked on learning new words and what they mean. She loves to draw so I let her draw the new words she learned.
