Jackson TS #12

 On Tuesday, August 10 at 3:30, I met with Masoud again at Starbucks. This time, we finished up our discussion of the past continuous tense, doing some more work with the when/while difference and then moving on to forming questions. The question structure was sometimes a bit difficult for him, but after a little more practice, he was writing his own questions properly and understanding those I was asking of him. We ended with a discussion of contractions, which he picked up right away. We decided that next time we will start there, using them in questions and sentences to understand their meaning.

Trying to further my evaluation of Jeahs skill we completing a reading assignment. Where we rfead brief articles and answered questions together. This testing her comprehension, which she is pretty good at. I've noticed if she reads out loud she seems to understand stuff better.

p August 28th Today Jeah wrote a lot, I had her create a make belief story to tell me. She struggles finding those in between words like "and" or "a" so we practiced using those or being more mindful and use them correctly.
