 On Monday, August 9, at 1:00pm, I met with Masoud at Starbucks. We once again worked on the past conditional tense, working on forming more compound sentences and differentiating between times that you use the simple past and the past continuous. We had quite a long side tangent at one point, discussion handshakes and different ways of greeting people in our different countries. It was interesting to hear him say that you shake the hand of every male in a room when you enter, since in the US we simply wave and maybe hug 1-2 people. We ended with doing some fill in the blank exercises that helped with the structure of the tense, which he is understanding very well.
