Alexa Scalchunes CP #6

Today (August 2nd) I met with my friend from high school who is an advanced ESL speaker, his first language being Spanish.

My friend and I met at a breakfast place in my hometown. We discussed the Olympics and sports in general. I am a huge gymnastics fan and he is a big basketball fan, so we compared the two sports, as well as the athletes in the sports. There is a lot of discussion around Simone Biles right now, so we also shared our thoughts on her at the Olympics.

Trying to further my evaluation of Jeahs skill we completing a reading assignment. Where we rfead brief articles and answered questions together. This testing her comprehension, which she is pretty good at. I've noticed if she reads out loud she seems to understand stuff better.

 August 3rd Today Jeah and I met after a brief break, we worked on learning new words and what they mean. She loves to draw so I let her draw the new words she learned.
