Topic/Skill: Speaking using grammar involving the past

Feedback provided to tutee:

I would listen to my tutee and anytime she made a mistake with her grammar, I would correct it by rephrasing what she said with correct grammar or repeating it back to her as a question with the correct grammar. I also helped explain some apartment vocabulary to her.

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: 

This week, her laptop wasn't working so I learned to improvise because my original lesson plan involved the computer. We used her apartment hunting as an opportunity to practice her speaking and listening skills, especially because she said she wasn't super comfortable talking or listening in English for extended periods of time.

Trying to further my evaluation of Jeahs skill we completing a reading assignment. Where we rfead brief articles and answered questions together. This testing her comprehension, which she is pretty good at. I've noticed if she reads out loud she seems to understand stuff better.

 August 3rd Today Jeah and I met after a brief break, we worked on learning new words and what they mean. She loves to draw so I let her draw the new words she learned.
