Olivia TS #13

 July 21, 2021 at 6:30pm. I met with Steven at Strozier Library for an hour. The majority of our lesson revolved around the past and present progressive tense. I had a print out for him of the "formula" to structure a sentence with it and when he would want to use it. After going over some examples I had two dialogues for him to listen to with the transcript to follow along. After each one he pointed out any vocabulary he did not know then we listened to it again. I asked him comprehension questions like "What is Jon doing?". After this we talked about him classes and I answered any questions he had about an upcoming quiz.

 July 30th When working with Jael I realized on paper her English is almost perfect she can write sentences, uses some grammar, and knows a wide array of words. Trying to further my evaluation of Jeahs skill we completing a reading assignment. Where we rfead brief articles and answered questions together. This testing her comprehension, which she is pretty good at. I've noticed if she reads out loud she seems to understand stuff better.

 August 3rd Today Jeah and I met after a brief break, we worked on learning new words and what they mean. She loves to draw so I let her draw the new words she learned.
