Topic/Skill: Sentence Correction

Feedback provided to tutee:  For this session, Alice did fantastic with the sentence correction. We looked at a couple of sentences with the wrong punctuation and grammar and we had to decide the correct form. She was able to correct all of the sentences. She was also able to identify the sentences that did not need any changes. We also played a match the phrase game, where Alice could finish the sentences by matching the phrase. Her speaking skills are more confident now, there are less breaks in her tone. She doesn't seem to mutter her voices as much. 

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: Today, I learned that Alice enjoys playing Would You Rather. This session was more focused on her speaking skills and elaborating her thought. After I would ask the would you rather, I would ask her reasoning and she was able to explain why she chose her choice.  Also sharing my screen and editing the worksheet we are working on creates a better engagement, because we can track out progres.

Trying to further my evaluation of Jeahs skill we completing a reading assignment. Where we rfead brief articles and answered questions together. This testing her comprehension, which she is pretty good at. I've noticed if she reads out loud she seems to understand stuff better.

 August 3rd Today Jeah and I met after a brief break, we worked on learning new words and what they mean. She loves to draw so I let her draw the new words she learned.
