Topic/Skill: Adjectives

Feedback provided to tutee: For this session, it took a while for Alice to fully grasp the concept of adjectives. I would say she needs more practice with this topic. I tried to show her video, and I tried to do some worksheets as well. However, when I asked her some questions, she was unwilling to answer. I think it was due to the fact that she didn't understand adjectives. For the worksheet, I asked her to find the adjectives and the noun the adjective was describing. Even finding the noun was a little difficult. I want to do more practice in our future sessions. 

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I think it's important to do some engaging activities in the middle of the session. I noticed that in our last session, Alice was starting to become disengaged. This is why for this session, I wanted to do a 10-minute break. I used this time to take a break from talking about adjectives. With this 10 minute break, Alice and I just talked. Since we are trying to practice her speaking, I believe it is important for her to describe to me her interest.
