Topic discussed: Career Talk

Cultural and/or linguistic topics you and your partner learned:  For today's session, we talked about Ruth's career. It is getting better to hear her as well. When she tries to find the right words in English to say, she sometimes says in Spanish. Since I took Spanish in high school, I can figure out what she is trying to say. But other than that, we have been making great conversations. Ruth mentioned that she works in automotive industries, and she did demand planning. She analyzes the consumption of cars, and works with car parts. She mentioned that she is studying English because she will have more job opportunities in Spain. By knowing, both English and Spanish it will help her advancements in her job career.

 July 30th When working with Jael I realized on paper her English is almost perfect she can write sentences, uses some grammar, and knows a wide array of words. Trying to further my evaluation of Jeahs skill we completing a reading assignment. Where we rfead brief articles and answered questions together. This testing her comprehension, which she is pretty good at. I've noticed if she reads out loud she seems to understand stuff better.

 August 3rd Today Jeah and I met after a brief break, we worked on learning new words and what they mean. She loves to draw so I let her draw the new words she learned.
