Kinsey TS #7

 I met with Samuel via  at 3 pm on July 22 in the Hecht House. 

Topic/Skill: We discussed noun clauses and their functions. 

Feedback provided to tutee: I worked with Samuel to identify noun clauses in sentences. We then identified the function of the noun clauses. Finally, we converted questions into noun clause sentences. I provided feedback on verb tense agreement and noun quantity agreement. We worked on reorganizing words to convert questions to sentences. 

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I learned that since I am a visual person, I teach best using visual aids. I like to use arrows when demonstrating the reorganization of questions to sentences.

Trying to further my evaluation of Jeahs skill we completing a reading assignment. Where we rfead brief articles and answered questions together. This testing her comprehension, which she is pretty good at. I've noticed if she reads out loud she seems to understand stuff better.

p August 28th Today Jeah wrote a lot, I had her create a make belief story to tell me. She struggles finding those in between words like "and" or "a" so we practiced using those or being more mindful and use them correctly.
