Kinsey TS #6

I met with Samuel via  at 3 pm on July 21 in the Hecht House. 

Topic/Skill: We discussed vocabulary related to vacations, and we practiced talking about our coming vacations using the future tense. 

Feedback provided to tutee: I worked with Samuel on his pronunciation. I corrected his excessive use of articles, and his tendency to make nouns plural. We worked on his automacity when I encouraged him to speak freely and excitedly about his future plans. 

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I learned more about finding a balance between correction and encouraging fluidity in conversation when practicing speaking. I learned about Samuel's homeland and the way he likes to travel in Colombia.
