 I met with Hang-ah over Zoom on Monday, July 19, 2021. 

Topic discussed: Coffee orders, Call Me By Your Name, Korean traditions versus American traditions

Cultural and/or linguistic topics you and your partner learned: I learned about Korean culture in coffee shops and my conversation partner's favorite Korean dishes. We discussed alcohol use in the United States versus Korea. We talked about the trip I plan to take to Maine after I finish my TEFL certification . We talked about one of my movie recommendations that Hang-ah watched since the last time we spoke.

Trying to further my evaluation of Jeahs skill we completing a reading assignment. Where we rfead brief articles and answered questions together. This testing her comprehension, which she is pretty good at. I've noticed if she reads out loud she seems to understand stuff better.

 August 3rd Today Jeah and I met after a brief break, we worked on learning new words and what they mean. She loves to draw so I let her draw the new words she learned.
