Jackson CP #3

 On Thursday, July 22, at 7:00pm, I met with my conversation partner, Maher. We spent a little over 45 minutes talking about life in the US, how his family is adapting, how much they love trampoline parks, and another extensive conversation about soccer. I made a powerpoint detailing common soccer terms in English, including out-of-bounds, goal kicks, free kicks, and golazos. We spent a significant amount of time searching YouTube for our favorite goals and soccer moments of all time, and only had to stop when his internet disconnected. We will likely pick that conversation back up next time, perhaps moving onto other sports as well.

Trying to further my evaluation of Jeahs skill we completing a reading assignment. Where we rfead brief articles and answered questions together. This testing her comprehension, which she is pretty good at. I've noticed if she reads out loud she seems to understand stuff better.

 August 3rd Today Jeah and I met after a brief break, we worked on learning new words and what they mean. She loves to draw so I let her draw the new words she learned.
