Devon TS #5

 Hang-ah Kim

7/9/21

1:30 PM - 2:30 PM

During this lesson, we delved a little deeper into our conversation regarding prepositions. Last class we specifically focused on the prepositions "in", "on", and "by". I have noticed that Hang-ah is better with strictly relational prepositions, such as "behind" or "under", but struggles with more vague relations, such as, "from", "for", and "to". As such, we went over the usages of all of the more vague prepositions.

With every preposition I reviewed, I included a definition, multiple example sentences, as well as a fill in the blank practice example. After we covered all of our prepositions, of which there were five, I included ten fill in the blank questions where Hang-ah had to find the correct prepositions.

Hang-ah did very well with the exercise, though she still struggles with the difference between "from" and "with".

Finally, we read a news article together detailing the health benefits of drinking coffee. As we read through the article we stopped to analyze prepositions following our previous examples.
