Topic/Skill: American foods

Feedback provided to tutee: I had Je-won repeat sentences, phrases, and vocabulary words after me. If he didn't say them properly or clearly, I repeated them and had him repeat them back again.

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I learned that Je-won wants to learn English in order to help him get a job. He told me he wants to work on reading, so I am going to find some short stories to read with him for our session on Wednesday. I also asked him to download Duolingo to start learning on his own to help him with reading.

Trying to further my evaluation of Jeahs skill we completing a reading assignment. Where we rfead brief articles and answered questions together. This testing her comprehension, which she is pretty good at. I've noticed if she reads out loud she seems to understand stuff better.

 August 3rd Today Jeah and I met after a brief break, we worked on learning new words and what they mean. She loves to draw so I let her draw the new words she learned.
