Cultural and/or linguistic topics you and your partner learned: I learned that Saudi Arabia recently (4 years ago) got a new Crown Prince who has changed a lot of things very quickly and made Saudi Arabia much more progressive in a very short period of time. I also learned that there are not as many controversial topics in Saudi Arabia and that the U.S. is much more divided. Hussam was scared when he first got to Tallahassee because it was around the time that the Capitol was stormed. He was afraid for his life for a while. I also learned that Saudi Arabia is getting a Six Flags in the next few years, and it is supposed to be the biggest Six Flags in the world.

Trying to further my evaluation of Jeahs skill we completing a reading assignment. Where we rfead brief articles and answered questions together. This testing her comprehension, which she is pretty good at. I've noticed if she reads out loud she seems to understand stuff better.

 August 3rd Today Jeah and I met after a brief break, we worked on learning new words and what they mean. She loves to draw so I let her draw the new words she learned.
