Braden CP #2

Yesterday, my conversation partner Masoud and I took a walk around campus. We met at the CIES building and took a stroll around a decent bit of FSU. I showed him where things like the gym and the math buildings are. We talked about all sorts of stuff, like what we had done in the past week, or the friend he met who was from his same hometown in Saudi Arabia. We also got to talking about sports and working out. Apparently Masoud used to weigh a lot more, but has lost a lot of weight. This weekend, he is going to come rock climbing with me, which I do often.

    We also talked about the differences in birthday celebrations in Saudi Arabia vs in the US. Apparently, since families are usually very large there, they don't do a lot for each individual birthday. There would simply be too many to make a cake every time.

 August 3rd Today Jeah and I met after a brief break, we worked on learning new words and what they mean. She loves to draw so I let her draw the new words she learned.
