Topic/Skill: Past Verb Tenses

Feedback Provided: For today's lesson, Dave and I started off reviewing the worksheet that I gave him for homework. It consisted mostly of fill in the blank style questions in which he had to write down the proper future and present verb tense in the empty space. He also had to write two sentences for each verb tense. He got 100% on the fill in the blank and for the most part, he used each verb tense correctly in a sentence minus a few structure errors. After going over the homework, we continued with the powerpoint and went over past verb tenses. We went through their form and example sentences and after learning each past verb tense we did fill in the blank exercises that I found online.

Lessons about tutoring learned: I was a bit confused on how I would correct Dave's mistakes during this lesson. He is great at speaking but when it comes to writing he sometimes will have an idea but it will be backwards when he writes it down. The sentence does show fluency but not accuracy and I have to learn not to nitpick every small detail.
