Topic/Skill: Listening/Comprehension 


Materials: Canvas, computer


Teacher Presentation: There was no presentation in class today, the instructor let the students get right into work with their partners. 


Student participation: The students are given partners. In the Module tab on canvas, each pairing has their own set of activities specific to them that they must complete. One example was an assignment due today was one pair of students, who had to watch a 10-minute video on Motivation and then answer discussion questions together by talking about what they saw in the video. In another pairing, the students were assigned to watch and listen to a video while filing in the blanks according to what the audio was talking about. 


Feedback provided: Students mostly worked by themselves with their partners but sometimes, they had questions on whether or not a sentence that they wanted to say was correctly formatted or not and the instructor gave them feedback.

Trying to further my evaluation of Jeahs skill we completing a reading assignment. Where we rfead brief articles and answered questions together. This testing her comprehension, which she is pretty good at. I've noticed if she reads out loud she seems to understand stuff better.

 August 3rd Today Jeah and I met after a brief break, we worked on learning new words and what they mean. She loves to draw so I let her draw the new words she learned.
