Today I met with Masoud, a beginner level CIES

Topic/skill: Simple past tense, simple future tense

Feedback Provided: This was the first week that Masoud has used simple future tense in English. I made a review for him of the different signifiers such as "will," "am going to," "shall," etc, and we practiced these. He did really well, so we started practicing simple future in combination with simple past and simple present. He did really well with these too and just occasionally got an irregular incorrect.

Lessons about Tutoring Learned: It is great to see Masoud already improving a lot. Because of this, I did a more integrated lesson for the first time with other things he had been learning.

 August 3rd Today Jeah and I met after a brief break, we worked on learning new words and what they mean. She loves to draw so I let her draw the new words she learned.
