We played 20 Questions to get to know each other (our interests, hobbies, what we are studying, family/pets, movies/shows/books, music, personality traits). 

Cultural and/or linguistic topics you and your partner learned: 

Though I am from the US and she is from Kuwait, we both were interested in k-pop, so we talked a bit about that. Many of her interests involved Western-based movies, shows, and music, so we also talked about horror and rock music. We also found we have traveled to some of the same places, and want to visit the same countries. So even though we have different cultural backgrounds, many things about us align.

Trying to further my evaluation of Jeahs skill we completing a reading assignment. Where we rfead brief articles and answered questions together. This testing her comprehension, which she is pretty good at. I've noticed if she reads out loud she seems to understand stuff better.

 August 3rd Today Jeah and I met after a brief break, we worked on learning new words and what they mean. She loves to draw so I let her draw the new words she learned.
