Olivia TS #4

 I met with Paola on June 28th, 2021 for an hour at Sweet Shop. First we chatted a little about our weekends, what we did, and how her classes went earlier. Then we went over some grammar regarding gerunds and infinitives. We discussed what the differences were and when it is appropriate to use either one. Then we did rhyming vocab again with words that rhymed with /ew/. I had her come up with as many as she could and I presented some new words that she didn't know before. This is a fun activity for both of us. It's a way to not only learn new words but to practice pronunciations. Lastly, I had her read a short passage about getting a tattoo and asked comprehension and summarizing questions.

Trying to further my evaluation of Jeahs skill we completing a reading assignment. Where we rfead brief articles and answered questions together. This testing her comprehension, which she is pretty good at. I've noticed if she reads out loud she seems to understand stuff better.

 August 3rd Today Jeah and I met after a brief break, we worked on learning new words and what they mean. She loves to draw so I let her draw the new words she learned.
