Topic/Skill: Needs Assessment & Diagnostic, Interest Discussion, Getting to know one another

Feedback provided to tutee: Alice has a good grasp on her English for her age range. She mentions she needs more help with her writing and speaking. She needs more confidence when speaking, as she sometimes mumbles some of her phrases. I let her know with enough practice, her speaking will get better as she already has a good understanding in place. Also, her reading will also aid in sounding out the words she is saying. Alice needs some hellp on her reading comprehension, as she struggles knowing the meaning of some vocabulary words in her text.

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned:  I learned that I have to make a lot of talking points, just in case. There are times where I didn't have enough to say, so me and my tutee were not talking as much. I want to prepare more activities so she can stay engaged. I want to create these activities that connects with her interest so it can be more personal. I also want find out which level she's in, because then I can find more lessons that is do able but will challenge her.
