Topic/ Skill : Reading and comprehension of an article from the textbook. The article focuses on good                              practices of finance and saving money. This part is mostly a review from yesterday when                          they actually read and reviewed the meaning of the article.

Teacher Presentation : Dr. Rios displayed the article on the screen and went over the main points of the                                        article with the students. He called on different students to have them explain the                                        meaning in their own words. After reviewing the article, he had the students work                                        independently on answering questions and summarizing things related to the article.

Classroom Management : It is a very organized classroom. Dr. Rios lectures and then asks the students                                              questions to keep them engaged. 

Materials : Computer, Projector and White board 

Personal Thoughts : I was very surprised to see that this was an intermediate class. It seems almost like                                     an advanced class because of how difficult I would equate the subject matter of the                                     article to be. It seems very difficult for intermediate readers, but is still an engaging                                     topic to discuss.
