Feedback provided: Dong-bing and I got to know each other pretty well and I learned he likes to be called Dave because his name does not sound right to him in English. I was very impressed at how well he spoke and articulated and noted very few grammar mistakes in his speech. He mentioned that he liked grammar and he needed help with listening and writing at the same time which was a difficult task for him. I asked him some basic grammar question and we agreed that he needed help with future and present verb tenses. 


Lesson about tutoring learned: Dave does not speak English at home, I want to challenge him and get him to speak more English with his sister and be excited about it. He is very smart (probably smarter than I am when it comes to grammar) so I want to be as prepared as I can be when it comes to making lessons that both challenge him and peak his interests.

Trying to further my evaluation of Jeahs skill we completing a reading assignment. Where we rfead brief articles and answered questions together. This testing her comprehension, which she is pretty good at. I've noticed if she reads out loud she seems to understand stuff better.

 August 3rd Today Jeah and I met after a brief break, we worked on learning new words and what they mean. She loves to draw so I let her draw the new words she learned.
